Who we are
PMI Student Club at UCT Prague
Who We Are
We’re a student club at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague), focused not only on project management. We operate under the umbrella of the Project Management Institute (PMI) – a leading international organization in the field of project management.
What unites us is a passion for effective project management and a desire to continuously improve. We help students discover the world of projects beyond the classroom.
What We Do
We organize various events and activities that help you explore project management in practice:
- Workshops and Lectures: Learn from professionals and experienced students. We host interactive workshops and talks on current topics in project management.
- Networking Events: We connect students across different fields and years. Our events are a great chance to meet new people with shared interests and build valuable connections.
- Hands-on Projects: You’ll have the chance to take part in managing smaller projects within the club or try out the role of a project manager in a safe environment. You'll put theory into practice right away.
- Social Events: Besides education, we also focus on fun. We organize informal meetups – from coffee chats to team-building games – to strengthen our community and enjoy time together outside of school.
Who the Club Is For
Our club is open to all students of UCT Prague who are interested in project management. It doesn’t matter what you study or which year you’re in – what matters is your curiosity and willingness to grow.
We welcome everyone who’s eager to improve, learn new things, and connect with like-minded people.
